Swim Team Meeting
On Tuesday, February 14th, there will be a swim meeting after school for girls who want to swim this season. It takes place after school in the pool area downstairs. Girls will start fundraising for the future season. Please have a ride home after the meeting.
Enrollment Begins
Students should start thinking about what classes they would like to take next year. Classes are beginning enrollment, starting with freshmen, then sophomores, and then juniors. Starting with the class of 2013, this year's juniors, it is required to take financial literacy (semester class) along with a CTE class (semester class) the following semester; preferably junior or senior year. A CTE class can range from computers, cooking, child care, art, etc. Students are recommended to take classes that will help them with their career. If a student is not sure what they want to do with their life, they could experiment with different classes that sound interesting to them.
Pick's
Checking books out of the library doesn’t only entertain you; it also gives you the ability to show what books you like. If the librarians see you check out books a lot they might ask you to do picks, which is simply getting your picture on the wall and displaying four books that are your favorites. Every month four people are chosen for picks.
