Written by Shelby Burns

Wichita Heights High School bowling competed in their first tournament of the year, starting off the season on Saturday January 7th. Guys bowled first at 11 and girls at 2. The bowling alley, West Acres Bowl, was already packed at ten in the morning. The tournament was a Bakers format against 25 other teams. The teams were split into four pools, and you went against each team in your pool. Guys finished 9th out of 26. Girls finished 6th out of 26 girls teams. The winners of the tournament were Southeast guys and Maize girls.
