Help Support Our Very Own Ross McFarland At The Rosstoberfest!

Written by Prayla

The fourth annual Rosstoberfest Is coming up! It will be held in College Hill on Saturday, October 1. This is a race to honor one of our very own students Ross McFarland. It’s a fundraiser to help with his rare form of MD-Duchenne. Many other schools have helped support this and bring participants but since Ross is a Falcon, We’d like to get more Falcons involved to support.

This year we want more competition and groups. There will be an awesome prize for the group with the most participants. This includes all of the sports teams, music groups, academic groups and all other groups! Heights supporters will help manage the water station. Info and sign ups for runners will be during lunch.

Please come out to run, or even to help cheer everyone on. There is a 1k and 5k. Ross’s sister pushes him the entire way and its always a joy to watch them come up the final hill! Heights students will receive a discount of only $15 instead of $25. Food and drinks at the finish line. Hope to see you, your friends and family there!

Correction: A previous version of this story said that faculty would only pay $15 to enter: however the discount only applies to Heights students and Faculty will pay the $25 entry fee.
